David Workman & Brian Walsh: We Are Puget Sound: Discovering & Recovering the Salish Sea

  • Browsers Bookshop 107 Capitol Way North Olympia, WA, 98501 United States (map)

Join us for a multimedia event on Saturday, December 7 at 4:00 PM, to discover and recover our shared home in the Salish Sea, featuring lead author and Olympia resident David Workman and nature photographer and Olympia resident, Brian Walsh. Puget Sound is a magnificent and intricate estuary, supporting an abundance of resident and migrating life, notably two iconic, interdependent endangered species: Southern Resident orcas and chinook salmon. We will celebrate their new book and campaign, We Are Puget Sound: Discovering and Recovering the Salish Sea. Experience a stunning visual journey through the complex web of marine and terrestrial wildlife, regional economies of fishing and agriculture—and learn how each of us can join in protecting our common home in the Salish Sea.
