We Are Puget Sound: PTMSC Future of Oceans Lecture

An exciting companion to the We Are Puget Sound photo exhibit is the next Port Townsend Marine Science Center’s Future of Oceans series lecture, “We Are Puget Sound: Discovering and Recovering the Salish Sea,” on Sunday, January 23, 3 p.m., featuring a discussion panel with Mindy Roberts from WEC, SeaDoc Society Science Director Joe Gaydos and Brian Footen, co-founder and president of EarthViews. There is no charge to view the Zoom lecture however viewers are encouraged to RSVP online. 

Since its inception in 2014, the Future of Oceans lecture series has explored the frontiers of ocean research and emerging technologies while confronting the human capacity to understand and sustain healthy oceans. Join us on January 23rd as we hear from some dynamic scientist working to protect and restore the Salish Sea.
