Tacoma Ocean Fest: Virtual Eco-Booth

Tacoma Ocean Fest is a one-day free festival on Tacoma’s waterfront for World Ocean Day weekend. Due to COVID-19, Ocean Fest is offering festivities online, bringing the community together through arts, sciences, and water fun to celebrate the ocean, learn about its threats and get inspired to protect it. The festival features a virtual #WeArePugetSound eco-booth! This year our eco-booth features both a pledge form and a fun at-home “Mad Libs” letter to your legislator activity. Mad Libs Letter to your Elected Official

Fill in the blank with the whole family and mail this “Mad Libs” style letter to your local elected official. The letter invites you to reflect on your connection to the Salish Sea and the reasons you care to protect it. It also asks your elected officials to write you back with a commitment to protecting our shared waterways. You can print this letter to fill in the blanks and mail it directly to your representatives.
