#WeArePugetSound and We VOTE!

Every month, the We Are Puget Sound campaign highlights a different action you can take to contribute to the recovery of our shared waters. This month our featured action is to VOTE!

Did you know--20% of Washingtonians eligible to vote are not registered, especially among communities of color, young voters, and historically disenfranchised communities?

This election, make sure to vote all the way down your ballot for races that will impact the issues we all care about: the environment, the economy, and education. Take the time to research organizations you trust that vet and endorse candidates. Make a plan to fill out your ballot early, and reach out to family and friends to do the same.

Please join our online event on October 6 to learn more about how to register to vote, preparing yourself to cast your vote, and what elections mean for the health and recovery of the Salish Sea.

Joining the event will be:

Mindy Roberts, Washington Environmental Council
Erika Lundahl, Braided River
Ralph Munro, former Secretary of State for Washington
Oskar Zambrano, Latino Community Fund
Bridget Ray, Na’ah Illahee Fund
